New Bridge Constructed in Dalas

New Bridge Constructed in Dalas

As many of you know, we have spent the last few months investing in and ministering to the Gypsy village of Dalas. There we have sought to help the villagers by providing medical care, fixing homes, providing transportation to church and fixing whatever problems arose. However, one problem had continually eluded a solution. A bridge that sat on the side of the village had fallen into ruin, a bridge which provided the only pathway to school for the local children. Tragically, children had died crossing this bridge to school and when the water was high, it blocked any means of travel. We prayed for months that God would provide a solution, while every conceivable roadblock, whether legal or monetary, seemed to cloud any chance of success.

Today though, we can proudly proclaim that God does answer prayers. Thanks to the efforts of Sue Whitley and various donors, we have constructed a new, and immensely safer, bridge for the village. Children and adults no longer have to make a choice between education and safety. As small as we might see this bridge in terms of size, the impact on lives is immense. We want to thank you all for your continued support, support that allows us to continue our mission of reaching out like Christ wants us too. God bless you and have a wonderful day!
