Meet Larisa – 14 Years Old

Larisa’s was rejected by everyone….

Larisa grew up moving between state-run orphanages and foster care homes. Her mother was a drug addict, abandoning Larisa when she was seven. At first, Larisa was placed in foster care families, but each time she was rejected by the foster family and sent back to the state-run orphanage. Larisa started to lose hope she would ever find a family to love her.

Larisa has found a family at Finding Hope Children’s Home….

The state eventually placed Larisa with us at the Finding Hope Children’s Home. Since coming to live with us, Larisa has proven to be a sweet and very helpful young lady. However, she still deals with feelings of rejection. We have let her know that we love her unconditionally and will never abandon her.
